Vice President of Finance Division

Trent Grocock was appointed the Vice President of Finance in 2019. In this role Trent directs the offices of the Controller, Treasury Services, Budget, Procurement Services, Financial Planning and Analysis, and Real Estate.

Trent has been employed at the University since 2001 and most recently served as the Associate Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis, a role in which he provided financial recommendations to University officers and Trustees, short-term and long-term strategic financial planning, developed executive level reporting, analyzed University assets, liabilities and contingency levels. Trent graduated from Notre Dame in 1989 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Finance.

Prior to joining the Finance team at Notre Dame, Trent was employed as the Assistant Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis for General Electric. He serves as a board member for WNIT and the NCAA Board of Governors Finance and Audit Committee.

Trent and his wife Lisa are parishioners at St. Pius X Catholic Church. They are also proud parents of four children including two Notre Dame graduates and one St. Mary's graduate.
